As the strategic Marketing Manager for SD Sports Cards, a newly launched retail card shop, my objective was to establish brand visibility, drive audience growth + foot traffic, and increase community engagement. With a limited budget and a newly established brand, I focused on a multi-channel approach to rapidly expand reach and foster a loyal customer base.
Starting with a small following of a couple hundred on Instagram and a stringent annual ad budget, I implemented a strategic growth plan that included expanding to six additional channels: Whatnot, TikTok, Threads, Google Ads, YouTube Shorts, Reddit, and Constant Contact for email marketing. This diversified approach allowed us to maximize reach within our budget, increasing brand visibility across multiple platforms and fostering customer engagement with maximum ROI. The chart reflects the significant growth over 2024.
Through my lead in targeted, multi-channel marketing strategies and creative content ideation and execution, our team achieved a 76% increase in total sales for 2024, over 2023, demonstrating the effectiveness of strategic resource allocation, successful campaign execution resonating with target audience, and cross-channel synergy in driving tangible business results.
Ad-Spend Example
Leveraging real-time industry trends, I ideated and executed a newsjacking campaign with an ad-spend of just $25. By responding swiftly to emerging discussions around ‘marked’ sports card boxes, I positioned SD Sports Cards as an informed and trustworthy voice within the community. This campaign achieved over 54,000 impressions, 939 interactions, and a total reach of 52,967, marking it as the brand’s most impactful, budget-efficient campaign to date.
